Description:
Grapes for the Stellenrust Barrel Fermented Chenin Blanc wine is harvested from a very old single vineyard of Chenin blanc on the slopes of the Bottelary Hills, hence the number on the front of the bottle referring to age of the vines in the year the wine was made.
Thanks to its barrel fermentation and nine-month aging on the lees in French and Hungarian oak, it presents itself as a wonderfully concentrated drop with great matured aromas, spicy-spicy freshness and an exciting lenght.
The wine has received more than 30 international awards since 2007.
