The vines are on chalky soils on the southern slopes of the Alpine foothills. Vinification: The grapes are destemmed for about 40 days and then dried and milled. The fermentation takes place in the first days on the skins, then as a must. A small portion is fermented in new oak barrels and for 4 - stored for 6 months on the lees ("sur lie"). So from the very profitable as well-known grape Gaganega results nevertheless a powerful and characterful wine. Instrumental in the birth of this wine was the Flying Winemaker Owen Bird.
The color is intense golden-yellow, with bright aromas of ripe fruit and honey. On the palate you noticed hints of pineapple and quince, which are accompanied by a delicate enamel. The wine is dry but full-bodied and full-bodied.
