Character: dry, fresh Content: 0.75 liters Variety: 45% Colombard, 30% Ugni Blanc, 15% Gros Manseng, 10% Sauvignon Blanc Winery: Domaine de Grachies Vintage: 2021 Region: Gascony, France Alcohol: 11.5% vol. Serve at: 6-8°C Description: The blend consists of obscure grapes from Gascony with the primary grapes being Colombard and Ugni Blanc. Never heard of them before? They are mainly used to make Cognac/Armagnac in France. Ugni Blanc is the second most widely planted grape in the world... also known as Trebbiano in Italy. These grapes are almost always used to make a blended wine... paired together the two balance each other to perfection creating an easy to drink wine. The Domaine de Grachies Cotes de Cascogne Blanc: Vibrant aromas of citrus fruit and a light but lovely aroma of white flower. On the palate, it is a dry, fresh and lively wine with a hint of tropical fruits and apple but mainly citrus fruits, particularly grapefruit. Expect a clean and crisp finish.
