Color: white Character: dry Content: 0.75 liters Variety: Viura, Malvasia Winery: Altos de Rioja Vintage: 2021 Region: Rioja Alcohol: 14% vol. Serve at: 6-8°C Description: Grape variety/Vinification The wines from Altos de Rioja are produced in an area with a privileged micro climate for growing grapes. Characterized by dry summers, with warm days and cool nights, with a temperature difference between day and night that can reach 20°C. This obtains optimum ripening of the grapes. This wine consists of Viura and Malvasia grapes. The fermentation of the Viura takes place in stainless steel tanks, while the fermentation of the Malvasia grapes takes place in oak barrels. To give more volume to this young and fresh wine, 30% of the final blend is aged in French and American oak barrels for 4 months. Tasting notes The Altos R Rioja Blanco has a clean and bright straw yellow color with greyish hues at the edge. Intense fresh floral aromas that give way to white fruits like pear and tropical fruit. Dry with just enough acidity to make it fresh and lively with a structured and tasty finish of ripe fruit.
