An oasis in a desert-like landscape, that is the impression that Pago Aylés gives. The winery is one of 15 bodegas in Spain classified with the highest quality level “Vino de Pago”. This status is only given to outstanding companies that have particularly high quality and a unique terroir, whose vineyards are at least ten years old and form a coherent whole. Vino de Pago is comparable to the French Grand Cru location. Currently around half of the Pago winery's 70 hectares of vineyards are classified. Despite the difficult conditions and the dry landscape characterized by bare rocky slopes, wines with an independent character and the highest quality standards were created.
