DGB was formally established in 1990, although its true roots extend over 300 years when winemaking began at the Boschendal and Bellingham farms in the Cape Winelands. Around 1940, Douglas Green pioneered the wholesale sales model for wine in Paarl. Today, they are one of South Africa's largest independent wine and spirit producers and distributors. What sets them apart, is their continuous quest and capacity to get better as they grow.
