"WINERY AND FAMILY GUICCIARDINI STROZZI… since 994…. The motives which inspire people to engage in new projects and face new risks can be varied: the passion for a very recently discovered or rediscovered territory like Maremma, with its secret and intriguing charm, or like Pantelleria, with its savage nature, incontaminated, windswept, and enjoying its abundant sunshine. Or the desire to immerse oneself in new initiatives, to witness them growing, prospering and leaving behind from the very beginning other projects not only already observed but overtaken. More positively the need to broaden the horizon through their own activities, by diversifying them an offering new opportunities. These probably are the motives which have driven me to redraw attention to Cusona, to San Gimignano, to investing in Maremma in the North, in Bolgheri in the Centre, to the South in Scansano and Pantelleria, and thus give substance to my aspirations: the future of which will testify how misguided they were or how inspired the have become.
