On terrain long ago cultivated by the Romans — old farmers still remember ploughs bringing up coins and archeological artifacts — can be found the 15th century walls of the Roveglia farmstead. In the old stable, where the beams, walls and floors of rose Veronese marble give witness to the building’s former use, one now finds a space furnished with family heirlooms and art, devoted to tasting and conviviality. In an adjoining, small lodge that dates from the 19th century wine can be sampled and purchased.
