Color: red Character: dry, vibrant, tasty, elegant Volume: 0.75 liters Variety: 80 % Tempranillo, 20 % Garnacha Vineyard: La Rioja Alta Vinetage: 2015 Region: Rioja Alcohol: 14,5% vol. Serve at: 16°C Description: The top reserve Vina Ardanza Reserva of the house La Rioja Alta stands out from the sea of the Rioja Reservas thanks to its high proportion of Garnacha grapes (20%). They enrich the wine with a juicy, inviting fruit. Both grape varieties were vinified separately, Tempranillo then matured 36 months and Garnacha 30 months in used barriques. Expressive in fragrance with a magnificent interplay of spice notes (cinnamon, black pepper, vanilla) with fruity sounds (red & black berries, plums) and earthy nuances, complemented by subtle toasted notes, a hint of leather and a balsamic accent. Excellently balanced on the palate with finely woven tannins, an elegant body and a long, delightful finish.
