In the glass the Montes Reserve Merlot shows a dense, dark red color.
The bouquet has intense notes of raspberry, with the characteristic pepper-spice note. On the palate we see expressive fruit flavors, including raspberry, blackberry and plums. Some wood flavors come through but the fruit dominates clearly. Acid and tannin are well measured and well balanced.
The overall impression is soft and fruity.
The finish lasts long and can resonate the beautiful fruit impression.
