ZANTHO Blaufränkisch is characterized by deep red with a purple edge. On the nose, the wine shows an incredibly fine fruit that is reminiscent of blackberries and is underlined by mineral notes.
On the palate you can again see a juicy and deeply spicy berry fruit, supported by a fine acidity, ending in a long-lasting finish.

Josef Umathum guarantees the high quality of the grapes produced and is responsible for quality management in the vineyards. Wolfgang Peck, managing director of the Andau wine cellar, is the oenologist responsible for the vinification. Together, typical regional wines are produced from local grape varieties on almost 70 hectares of vineyards.
