Description: 
Aurelio considered releasing a pure Carmenere wine, but after trialling many combinations, decided that this blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Carmenere brought forward the best of both varieties.
Aged in American oak and with only one soft filtering. Beautiful, intense ruby-red color, with an elegant aroma of chocolate, cigar box and coffee, plus touches of vanilla and butterscotch.
The Montes Cabernet Sauvignon Carmenere is soft and generous, with a long aftertaste.
