Doña Paula's history goes
back to 1990, when a period
of exhaustive research on
the different Argentinean
terroirs and their potential to
fully express each varietal
traits started.
This is when the first
vineyard was acquired. It is
located in the foothills of the
Andes Mountains, in
Ugarteche, Luján de Cuyo
(Mendoza), a region that is
famous worldwide because of
its Malbec, which offers very
aromatic red wines with soft
tannins.
Doña Paula is among the
main Argentinean wineries
that export premium wines;
97% of our production is
exported to more than 60
countries and the
international press has
assigned us very high ratings.
