The Despagne family own 5 different Bordeaux properties totalling 300 hectares, and sell nearly 2 000 000 bottles per year, 90% of these in the demanding export markets. They are without doubt the only vignerons in the Entre- deux-Mers to successfully launch a garage wine that resells for 80 euros a bottle, and probably the only ones to generate wildly positive press reviews by both Robert Parker and Jancis Robinson !
