Chateau Labegorce Margaux - Famille Perrodo Located on the famous Route des Châteaux, this elegant neoclassical château covers an area of two hundred and fifty hectares, almost seventy of which are planted with vines. Adjacent to the Châteaux Margaux and Lascombes, this property is mentioned in Édouard Féret's 1868 edition, which reports the existence of "the lands of the House Noble de La Bégorce" since 1332. The château is presented as "... one of the most beautiful and best situated in the commune of Margaux". Since its purchase in 1989, the Perrodo family has succeeded in restoring to this estate all its architectural brilliance and a viticultural dynamism that gives Labégorce a charming wine with a very beautiful structure, with bright fruit and great finesse. In 2006, the Perrodo family also acquired Château Marquis d'Alesme, the third Grand Cru Classé of Margaux, with the aim of raising this wine to the level of one of the jewels of the appellation.
