Since 1847, the passion for winemaking has been passed down through generations in the MICHEL family. In the heart of the Champagne vineyards, a few kilometres from Epernay, in the commune of Moussy, the company's 12 hectares of vineyards are planted with Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. These three grape varieties make for distinct vintages with a wide variety of unique flavours. Every year, 60,000 bottles of Champagne Jean MICHEL are produced. In our "Maison de Champagne", every stage of the winegrowing process is closely controlled. Protecting the environment is one of our main concerns: sustainable cultivation, no insecticides, mechanical greening, control of fertilisers and soil improvers by analysing the soil of each plot. The entire vineyard is treated exclusively with organic products.
